Final year end blog post

I feel as though I have had a great year in P.E and I hope I can repeat it next year. But for now this is my final blog post! :)

Participation:
I feel as though my participation Is one of the strongest aspects of my overall time spent in this class. This is because I always am participating in class activities even if I don't enjoy them. Another part of participating is showing up to class and I know I excel at this because I have never skipped a class and don't plan to. One of the biggest advantages for my participation is gym strip, I have remembered it everyday except maybe once and that is very impressive to me because I am usually a very lazy and forgetful person. Lastly I think I show my true participation because I'm not just at class to get a check on the attendance I'm there to keep up my fitness, increase my intensity as a person and have a good time whilst doing so.

Social Responsibility:
As I see it I am a very responsible person during P.E. and push myself to not just try to impress teachers but instead impress myself. I try to accomplish this by encouraging others to do their best as well as myself. And if I won or lose I always attempt to have a good attitude  about it and move one. I truly believe my biggest achievement in this section is that if I know I can/know how to help with either setting up teams for games or the equipment necessary for them I have no problem jumping in and taking the initiative. Lastly  I ill think I improve our classes dynamic by not excluding others in activities and wanting everybody to do their best and enjoy the activity at the same time.

Healthy Living:
I have found this year that there are many different aspects of healthy living and I now get that to be heathy you don't need to be constantly pushing yourself you just can't give up on yourself. When I found out I didn't make the lacrosse team this year I was crushed and right away because I was missing all of that physical training I would become fat and lose all motivation to stay in shape. And honestly I did lose all my motivation for a while but then I decided I wanted to come back better next year and surprise them. I started running and found that wasn't my thing so I started working out in my basement and I quite enjoy it. I know that physical work is everything and that nutrition is a big part of staying fit and I don't have the best eating habits and that they could improve a lot and I'm trying to do so but I am pick eater as I am like my father in that way. Other than personal goals I have set at home another way I try to stay fit is by staying involved in tae Kwon do every Tuesday and Thursday whilst also going long boarding whenever I have free time. I think this helps me because I'm not just staying home and playing video games all day I'm going out and being active and as a bonus I'm enjoying it. In the future I am planning on keeping up with my physical activities while improving my eating habits.

My Blog:
This is easily my weakest section as I have been to be honest to lazy and forgetful to post in my blog but when I did I was proud of myself... There's not much more to say then I need to try harder next year to remember my blog and support it with video and picture evidence.

24/25 -participation
22/26 -social responsibility
24/25 -healthy living
10/25 -blog

Overall I think I deserve a B as a final mark for the year.

Tae Kwon Do

Yesterday I had Tae-Kwon-Do and to me I feel like I pushed myself further then I had on anything in weeks and I'm proud of myself for that. I think I'm more motivated to try harder next time because it felt do self rewarding to finish class and know that I put a valid effort in all class instead of just cruising through it.

Atomic Dodgeball

Last week we played atomic volleyball in collaboration in PE and found it was a very interesting experience. I found that when others were eliminated they felt better when I said you'll do better next round! I think I was a positive player that day because no matter if my team won or lost I was just happy to be playing and having fun. Overall I think atomic volleyball was a very positive fun class for everyone but if we were to do it again I believe I could be a better role model.

Recent Activitys

Recently I haven't been too active as i have lost alot of my motivation and been excused from P.E. to practice for the up and coming band trip to Seattle. Though i have been very busy with band and school work i have still been going to tae kwon do twice a week to attempt to keep my stamina up.

Fitness test

Today I am going to talk about my last fitness test. Last time we ran the beep test I ran a ten followed by an eight right after. This made me feel good about myself because I knew I was pushing myself whilst also being sick. Over the past year my beep test scores have not improved by much but by running twice I can truly trust that I am testing myself.

Tae Kwon do

I have looked back and noticed I have not talked about my tae Kwon do participation. I goto class every Tuesday and Thursday and each class we do something different from standard combos to the gauntlet and sparing. Tae Kwon do has helped my fitness greatly by increasing my intensity and state of mind. I have no plan to give up tae Kwon do anytime soon because it is such a huge part of my fitness and I enjoy it a lot.

Community run

Yesterday for fitness me and a few guys went up to goldstone and ran around the community for fitness. Lately I have been more interested in my stamina because my lacrosse season is starting and the sport is very running intensive and physical. I have never been the big physical guy but instead I've had to be the quick skilled player and to be that player this year my stamina has to improve
